Our historic bed and breakfast in Milton, Delaware, lies just a few miles north of the Delaware’s eastern shore beaches. Mansion Farm Inn is located just eight miles from the quaint town of Lewes, DE, 13 miles from the seaside town of Rehoboth Beach and boardwalk and about 40 miles north of Ocean City, MD.
Our property offers a quiet, tranquil country setting near several beaches and is only five miles from Broadkill Beach.
Built as a private residence more than 200 years ago, Mansion Farm Inn is rich in history. Our two-acre property is a truly relaxing getaway, lined with evergreens, holly bushes and cornfields. With serene gardens, fountains and a new large saltwater pool. You may never want to leave, so bring a bathing suit and book.
Each of our three guestrooms reflects our taste of decor, yet related to the history of the Mansion Farm. We have the Robbins Room, named after the original owner David Robbins, which is the largest room and more of a romantic room, with shades of beige, cream and teal. The Milton Room, named after the city of Milton, has a nautical theme with colors of terracotta, orange and green. The Holly Room has a modern twist with shades of green and blues. It was named holly after holly wreaths and swags were made and distributed from the property in the 1930’s, which led Delaware to name it as their state tree.
All guest rooms have private bathrooms with shower and soaking tub, toiletries, and even towels for the pool. Your room has a cozy seating area, Smart TV with cable, Wi-Fi and all-season fireplace for a nice ambience. The beds are state-of-the-art split adjustable king-size mattresses to enjoy unlimited head and foot positions that can help reduce stress on your lower back and improve your breathing.
Enjoy light snacks and beverages from our snack bar in the Garden Porch and head on out to our deck, have a swim, play cards or just relax where you will have a beautiful view of the gardens, fountains and the pool.
Enjoy a country setting while minutes away from area amusements: the beach, great shopping outlets, (remember, no sales tax in Delaware!!!) and fabulous restaurants.
